After 28 years, I am finally sharing my Salsa Fresca recipe! In the early 90s, my husband was stationed in San Diego (US Navy) and I worked for the County of San Diego. This authentic recipe was given to me at that time by a co-worker and I have always cherished it . Now that we live in New Jersey, every summer I look forward to jersey tomatoes which make it even better! I am excited to teach you how to make it!
We are teaming up with Sorbello Farms CSA who will be providing the tomatoes and many of the fresh ingredients for this recipe. You will have the opportunity to make your own salsa and customize it with just the right heat to your taste! All scraps will be composted (we will talk about the benefits of composting) and you will even receive your own kitchen composter to take home along with your personal jar of salsa and chips!
